There is one person in particular without whom I would not have been able to get this website off the ground.  A friend of many years’ standing, Martin has spent countless hours online with me, discussing the various stages from my first vague concept, through finding a web host to actually going live on the internet.

Without his advice, coaching and patience I would probably have given up before I started. He has been patient and positive when I have been discouraged and would have given up; explained technical concepts in simple terms; untangled the strands of the intricate world wide web that is the internet and generally enabled me to achieve, in a relatively short space of time, what would have taken many months had I attempted it alone.

The whole experience, traumatising though it must have been, has inspired Martin to add yet another website to his varied portfolio. His latest venture is aimed specifically at people like myself, who have an idea for a website but not the faintest notion of how to create one.
